Event Description

Workshop 4: Soil Testing & Soil Preparation

This workshop will show you how to test and assess your soil for nutrients, heavy metals, pH, and other soil characteristics. You’ll then learn techniques that build healthy soil through sheet mulching, composting, no-till gardening, and permaculture techniques. Participants will leave with a soil test kit and an instruction sheet for assessing your own site.
