Resident writing a letter to the Mayor and the Commissioner of the Department of Recreation and Youth Services, Luis Burgos

Posting a sign that states basketball court is closed after 10pm
Putting up a camera overlooking the parking lot
Partnership with recreation center staff and neighborhood residents

The cameras are temporary, but duration is undefined.
The Humboldt Recreation Center is committed to being a good neighbor.
Issues may lessen as the weather changes.
The best solutions are multi-faceted and include residents using the playground and recreation center in order to deter problem situations.
The “Recreation on the Move” van is a great resource to bring the community into recreation center programming.
Send letters to Department of Recreation and Youth Services when things are going well so they know what is working.
