N. Winton Village Linear Garden Celebration at Linear Gardens

July 1, 2011 from 10am to 11am
Since Chase Bank has transferred the land at the Linear Gardens to the City of Rochester, the North Winton Village Neighborhood Association will be maintaining the gardens. The neighborhood association will be receiving a grant from the Southeast Neighborhood Service Center to extend the path and put an artistic arbor on the Main Street entrance soon. Akron Street Improvement Plans

Hi Pocket Residents!

This information is especially relevant for those who live on Akron Street within the Healthy Blocks area. As you probably have heard by now the City of Rochester plans to do street improvements on Akron Street and Cedarwood Terrace in the spring. The project has been delayed on the one-way part of Akron Street because the Water Bureau needs to replace the water mains, which is a considerable undertaking. There is also the matter of where to put the utility poles.…
