Hi Pocket Residents!

This information is especially relevant for those who live on Akron Street within the Healthy Blocks area. As you probably have heard by now the City of Rochester plans to do street improvements on Akron Street and Cedarwood Terrace in the spring. The project has been delayed on the one-way part of Akron Street because the Water Bureau needs to replace the water mains, which is a considerable undertaking. Katrina Hanson Rex Fighting Crime With A Text Message

Did you know you can report crime anonymously by text message in Monroe County? From Channel 13 WHAM News:



Monroe County and the City of Rochester partnered with Monroe County Crime Stoppers to provide the new service.



The service allows anonymous text messaging by encrypting text messages and routing them through computer services outside the United States. The server will assign the tipster an alias to maintain anonymous contact.

Katrina Hanson Rex Rained-Out Picnic Rescheduled for July 23!

The neighborhood picnic originally scheduled for June 11has been rescheduled for July 23. We will be meeting at the Humboldt Recreation Center on Atlantic Avenue.
